Where we work

Greater Houston, and everything up I-45 to Huntsville.

We install across the full Houston metro, roughly a 35-mile radius of downtown in every direction, and we run the north corridor past The Woodlands and Conroe all the way up to Huntsville.

Primary service areas

Your water depends on your address.

Houston-area water comes from hundreds of different systems: city utilities, MUDs and regional authorities. Your neighbour across the street can be on a different one. Pick your area for the local numbers, what they mean in your house, and what we'd install.

Why it varies so much

Groundwater or surface water changes everything

Two homes twenty minutes apart can need completely different equipment. It comes down to where the water starts.

Groundwater areas

  • Harder water, typically 150–220 ppm
  • Usually free chlorine, so standard carbon handles it
  • Fewer disinfection byproducts, less organic matter to react with
  • Naturally occurring minerals from the Gulf Coast Aquifer

Typically: Katy, Tomball, parts of Cypress, Huntsville

Surface water areas

  • Softer on paper, typically 100–180 ppm
  • Chloramines, which need catalytic carbon, not standard carbon
  • Higher disinfection byproducts from treating organic matter
  • Seasonal taste and odour swings

Typically: The Woodlands, Spring, Humble, Houston proper

Don't see your town?

We'll tell you in one call

This list covers the 35-mile radius and the north corridor, but we cross the line for the right job, especially on well water. Call and we'll say yes or no on the spot, no run-around.

Why location matters

Houston-area water isn't one thing.

What comes out of your tap depends on which utility serves you, whether you're on city water or a well, and how old the pipe in your street is. A home in Katy and a home in Huntsville need very different systems. That’s why we look up the published report for your exact utility and address before we quote, not a city-wide average.

City water

Hardness and disinfectant levels vary widely between utilities. Two homes twenty minutes apart can need very different systems.

Well water

Iron, sulfur and bacteria change the whole design. Well systems start with a laboratory analysis, not a package.

Older neighborhoods

Ageing service lines can add metals that a city-wide report never shows. Tell us the age of the house on the call and we will factor it in.
