Services
Fix your water problems.
Hard water scale. Chlorine taste. Spotted glassware and dry skin after every shower. Whatever is wrong with your water, we'll name it and fix it, with published pricing, a price on the first call, and no pressure.
What we do
Our services
Four things solve almost every water problem in a Texas home. Most homes need a combination, which is why we install them as one package.
Water softening
Scale on fixtures, spotted dishes, dry skin and hair, water heaters that die early. Ion exchange pulls the calcium and magnesium out before they reach your pipes.
Carbon filtration
Chlorine and chloramine are what you smell in the shower and taste in a glass. Carbon adsorption takes them out at every tap in the house.
Reverse osmosis
A separate stage under the kitchen sink for what you drink and cook with: dissolved solids, lead and other contaminants a whole-home filter isn't designed to catch.
Consultation & service
A free phone consultation using your utility's published water report, then filter reminders and service from the same people who installed it.
Beyond the standard home
Specialty work
Different problems, different diagnosis. These start with a conversation, not a package price.
Well water treatment
Iron, sulfur and bacteria. Well builds normally add UV purification on top of the standard stages, and every one starts with a laboratory analysis rather than a catalog.
PFAS & lead reduction
Forever chemicals and lead, handled at the drinking-water stage with certified reverse osmosis.
System repair & rescue
Inherited a system with the house, or bought one that never worked right? We'll diagnose it before you replace it.
New construction & remodels
Rough in a loop while the walls are open, so the install is clean and the equipment sits exactly where you want it.
Commercial & light industrial
Restaurants, salons, clinics and offices. Sized to your draw, not to a homeowner's.
Multi-family & rentals
Complexes and portfolios, with maintenance schedules an owner can actually plan around.
Transparent pricing
Four packages, plus well water
Pick the one that matches your water. Every package is installed by a licensed plumber, programmed and cleaned up, and paid for after the work is done. Well water is built around your analysis, so it is quoted rather than listed.
A softener and a separate catalytic carbon tank. The usual answer in Houston, where most homes have the hardness and the chemistry to deal with at the same time.
The filtration stage most companies leave out
Catalytic carbon does more than remove chlorine smell
Chlorine is easy to smell. Chloramine is harder to notice, and it can still be in your water even when the water smells clean. Water plants use disinfectants to treat your water, and those disinfectants can mix with natural matter and create other unwanted compounds. Water reports show averages for an entire area, but your home may receive different water. Your water may also pick up pesticides, solvents and other chemicals before it reaches you, and all of it can come through every faucet and shower in your house.
Why catalytic carbon matters. Regular carbon works like a sponge. It traps some contaminants until it fills up. Catalytic carbon works differently: it helps break down chloramine instead of only trapping it. When the system is sized and maintained properly, it can keep working for years.
What it helps reduce
The result. A water softener helps remove hardness. A catalytic carbon system helps reduce the disinfectants, odors and other unwanted compounds a softener does not target. That is why catalytic carbon is a key part of a complete whole-home water system.
As someone with sensitive skin and eczema, switching to filtered water has been life-changing. My dermatologist even noticed the improvement. The lifetime warranty gave me total peace of mind.
Not every home needs everything
Buy the whole system, or just the part you need
Most Houston homes end up with the complete package because most have both hard water and a chlorine problem. Plenty of homes do not. We would rather sell you one tank than talk you into three, so every stage is available on its own.
Softener only
Hard water, no taste complaint
Common on groundwater systems like Katy and Tomball, where the hardness is the whole problem and free chlorine is already mild.
Catalytic carbon only
Taste and smell, water already soft
If your water is on the softer end but the shower smells like a pool, the carbon tank is the stage doing that work. It does not need a softener in front of it.
Reverse osmosis only
Drinking water, whole-home already handled
Fits under the kitchen sink on its own. A sensible first step if the budget is not there yet for whole-home treatment.
UV only
Wells, and peace of mind on city water
Deals with bacteria and cysts rather than minerals or chemistry, so it is often added to a system that is otherwise fine.
Add to what you already have
An existing system that half works
If there is already a tank in the garage, we will tell you whether it is worth keeping before quoting you a replacement.
Built around your house
Wells, big households, odd chemistry
High iron, sulphur, low pressure, a household of seven, a loop in an awkward spot. These get sized from your water report rather than off a shelf.
What a single item costs
Less than the figures in the table above. Those are typical retail prices for this equipment bought piece by piece, which is what the bundle is measured against. They are not our price list for buying one thing.
A single stage is quoted on the call, because the number depends on the size your house needs and what the install involves. Tell us what you already have and what is bothering you, and we will price the smallest thing that fixes it.
Know what you're buying
What a whole-home system actually is
Every whole-home system, ours or anyone else's, comes down to the same six parts. Here's each one, what it does, and what we install. Ask any other company for the same list.
The mineral tank
The pressure vessel where treatment actually happens. Water enters at the top, works its way down through the media bed, and leaves treated at the bottom.
Tank size decides how much media you get, and the media is what does the work. Undersize it and the system runs out of capacity on laundry day.
The control valve
The brain, mounted on top of the tank. It meters every gallon the house uses, decides when the media needs recharging, and runs the cleaning cycle overnight without you touching it.
Ours is a digital metered valve. It counts the gallons your household actually uses and recharges on demand instead of on a clock, which saves salt and water. More to the point, it is the standard platform the whole trade works on, so parts are available anywhere and any technician can service it.
We install digital metered control valve · non-proprietary, serviceable by anyoneSoftening resin
Tiny ion-exchange beads that swap hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) for sodium as water passes through. This is what stops scale, protects the water heater and makes water feel soft.
Resin comes in grades, and the grade matters more than most homeowners are ever told. Denser beads hold up far longer against chlorinated city water.
Carbon media
Activated carbon adsorbs the chlorine and chloramine that make water smell like a pool and taste flat, along with a long list of organic compounds.
Carbon needs contact time. Water has to sit in the bed long enough to be treated, so the volume of media matters as much as the type.
We install coconut shell carbon · whole-home stageThe brine tank
The shorter second tank that holds the salt. When the resin fills up with hardness minerals, the valve draws brine back through the bed to recharge it, then rinses to the drain.
Your only job is keeping salt in it. The system handles the rest, and because the valve meters your real water use it only recharges when it actually needs to.
We install high-density polyethylene brine tankThe bypass & connections
Every install includes a bypass valve, so the house keeps running water even while the system is being serviced, plus labeled shutoffs and code-compliant plumbing.
Installed by a licensed plumber, programmed, cleaned up, and we walk you through running it before we leave.
